Guarenteed Rate is a national lender serving consumers in 50 states and provinces. Guarenteed Rate offers a broad range of product offerings including conventional fixed mortgages in 15, 20, and 30 year terms. Guarenteed Rate also offers FHA mortgages to accomodate borrowers with lower credit scores as well as low down payments (to find out more about the low down on FHA Mortgages click HERE). For former or active members of the military, Guarenteed Rate offers VA loans which can offer low down payments and zero primary mortgage insurance (PMI).

Lender Fees

Lender fees include processing, underwriting, application, and origination charges. Unlike processing, underwriting, and application fees, an origination fee is based off a percentage of the loan amount similar to a discount point. Guarenteed Rate has the following FIXED charges for each loan originated: processing - $1,140, underwriting - $150, application - $0. Guarenteed Rate does not charge an origination fee.
